What it looks like to include your sport in your senior photoshoot

With every senior session I do, it starts with the questionnaire. I send out the best questionnaire that not only aims to get to know who you are as a person but what you’re interested in. If sports are an interest or something you’ve been working on your whole high school career then I encourage you to consider including them in your senior photos!

Frequently asked Questions About Sports Photos

Yes! This is what most of my clients do, actually! When you schedule your session we can go over the logistics to plan out how and what to start with.

We can take them anywhere really. There are a lot of variables when thinking through senior photos and I always try to choose locations that have multiple areas where we can find different backdrops that suit the different aesthetic for each client. Some might choose courts or fields at their school when permitted, others might want a local hang out place they go to play ball with friends, and others might prefer something more scenic with less focus on the playing field, it all just depends on the senior. But don’t worry I help you figure it out with the questionnaire that goes out when you book a session.

Most clients bring their jersey, pads (if used), a ball, and any other items that correlate with their sport. I have a checklist you can reference here that gets emailed out to every booked senior client prior to their session to help them prepare.

Absolutely! I would say the main consideration depends on the length of your session and how you’d like to use the time we have for your shoot, but I always encourage teens to bring all their goodies!
