Meet Cassie |Class of 2026 at Elgin High School in Austin
Cassie Rice’s best friend summed her up in one word: awesome. No notes. She’s a color guard performer who feels most like herself mid-show, a Criminal Minds binger, a reader, and someone whose idea of a perfect day is sleeping in, a good book, and Korean food. She has a dimple on one side of her smile and she knows it’s cute.
She’s heading to UT Austin to study government, which makes sense for someone who has always wanted to see ancient libraries and read texts she’s dreamed about her whole life. Cassie is the kind of person who would teleport directly into a library if she could.
A Little More About Cassie
Her color palette is cool blues and pastels. Her chapter title is “The End of the Beginning.” She brought her letterman jacket to her session because it’s special to her, full stop. Her dream superpower is always being able to make someone happy, which is a very Cassie answer.

The End of the Beginning
Cassie named this chapter “The End of the Beginning,” and that’s exactly what it is. High school is a chapter she’s ready to look back on. What comes next is a whole new book.

We shot Cassie’s session at two spots, the Texas Capitol and the blue tile wall downtown. For a soon-to-be UT government major, the Capitol felt like the exactly right place to and The Blue Tile Wall is a great spot for some fun iconic photos.
