Elli Grace Hodges is the person everyone assumes they can’t approach and then immediately wants to be friends with. Her best friend calls her reliable, which is the kind of word that sounds simple until you realize how rare it actually is. She grew up performing for ten years, then stepped behind the curtain to become a stage manager, which tells you everything about someone who leads quietly and pays attention to the people around her.
She’s heading to Florida to study psychology because she’s always wanted to help people and understand the world better. That tracks for someone who lists empathy as the thing she loves most about herself.
A Little More Elli
She’d raid Charli XCX and Stevie Nicks’ closets without blinking, which is a range that makes complete sense once you meet her. Her color palette is pastels with the occasional black depending on her mood. She wants her photos to feel ethereal, and she is a cheese board person in a world full of chip and candy people. She’d pick teleportation as her superpower, which is convenient since her dream destination is Lake Como and her backup is any beach, anywhere.
Elli’s Perfect Day
The gym, drinks with friends, and ending up somewhere beautiful near water with a camera in hand. That’s the day. Simple, but she means it.
Elli’s Senior Photo Location
We shot Elli’s session at Southwest Greenway in East Austin. It’s one of those nature spots that gives you something to work with in every direction, and Elli was exactly the kind of person who knew how to be in it.
Moving On
Elli named this chapter of her life “Moving On,” which is exactly what it is. Not in a sad way. Just someone who knows what she’s leaving and is ready for what comes next.
