Meet Elli, Again
When Elli came back for her second session, she was different. More confident, more herself, more settled into who she is. She said it plainly: her confidence has improved a lot and she’s proud of herself for it. That’s not a small thing to say out loud, and it shows up in these photos.
She’s still heading to Flagler to study psychology. Still moving on. Just more ready for it than she was the first time we met.
A Little More Elli
She’s gotten more in tune with herself this year and started going out more. She wanted this session to feel fun and like the end of senior year — which is exactly what June in Austin delivers, heat and all. She brought her college flag, wore two dresses, and walked in a cap and gown. The vibe she was going for was still mystical, outdoorsy, a little beachy, a little free.
Elli’s Senior Photo Location
We shot this session at Eastwoods Neighborhood Park in Austin in June. Summer sessions have a different energy than fall ones — brighter, warmer, a little more alive. If you’ve been assuming fall is the only time to shoot, Elli’s session is proof otherwise.
Moving On
Same chapter title as last time, but it means something different now. The first session was the beginning of senior year. This one is the end. She said she loves seeing photos she knows she’ll stare at and keep forever. These are those.
