Meet the Valesquez Family
This sweet family had such a fun dynamic together. They wanted photos that would be a memory and not feel forced. Real Christmas memories, made at the place they actually live together, where there toddler is growing up, and where they decorate their tree every year.
I’ve known this family for years and it was such a special day where I witnessed their connection and captured it to the best of my ability for them to remember forever. Years from now they’ll look back and recognize their living room and all the sentimental ornaments they have on their Christmas tree.
What the Session Covered
We photographed this session at midday, in the early afternoon of December. We covered the family decorating their Christmas tree together and family portraits in their home, plus some playing outside together.
Midday is a time of day I love for an in-home session. It gave us bright, natural light for the portraits and for the decorating, with no extra lighting needed.
We did all of this session before nap time, too!
