A Fall Family Mini Session At Colorado River Nature Trail
This mini session with a family of four made its way along the Colorado River Nature Trail, with two girls, ages 6 and 2, leading the energy of the day. The older one is all confidence in front of a camera, quick to strike a pose and just as quick to talk your ear off about unicorns, rainbows, and Shakira. The younger one takes a little longer to warm up to new people, but she follows her big sister everywhere and picks up on everything she does, which usually does the trick.
Going in, the family had a short list of must-haves: the girls together, everyone in one frame, and a quiet moment for just mom and dad. Beyond that, the day was left open to whatever felt natural, which is exactly the kind of session that tends to produce the best photos, the candid ones over the posed ones.
This session was part of a fall mini session day at a hiking trail near the Colorado River.
