Family Focus: The Schwartzes at Brushy Creek Lake Park Fall 2026
The Schwartz family has been letting me photograph them for a few years now, and every time I see them on the calendar I know two things: I’ll get to catch up with Aaron and Tiffany, and see just how much their girls have grown since last year.
The girls are just a few years apart but couldn’t be more different. Emma goes all in or not at all… there’s no in between with her. Madeline is stubborn right up until the moment something makes her laugh, which, it turns out, is not that hard to pull off.
The light at Brushy Creek that evening was the kind that makes you feel like you hit the lottery. The sun was setting but the clouds diffused everything just enough to where there were no harsh shadows, no squinting, just soft pinks and oranges wrapping around everything. It’s the light that makes fall sessions in Austin worth scheduling around.
