Senior Spotlight: Haley Knowlton

February 15, 2026

Hayley’s Senior Story

Haley showed up with a big heart and a willingness to be seen. Her friends describe her in one word: Love. And that’s the thread that runs through everything about her. The way she talks about choir. The way she lights up when she mentions Hogwarts. The way she still believes in magic but also has plans to become a medical malpractice lawyer.

We incorporated her sheet music, specifically her favorite choir song, because singing isn’t just something she does. It’s where she feels confident.
There’s a softness to her, but don’t confuse that with fragility.

Not every challenge needs to be explained to be understood. This year asked Haley to navigate change with grace. And she did. There’s something powerful about a senior who doesn’t pretend everything is perfect, but also doesn’t let hard moments define her.

And now she’s at what she calls “The End of an Era.”Not in a tragic way. In a turning-the-page way.

College is next. Pre-law or something related. Grad school after that. A future medical malpractice lawyer with a choir girl’s heart and a sense of justice that runs deeper than glitter and pink aesthetics ever could.

About Hayley

Here’s a little snapshot of her world:

  • Forever loyal to Harry Potter (Hogwarts is home, spiritually speaking)
  • Favorite binge: Harry Potter or Captain America
  • Top songs: Crushing by Sombr, Goodbye by Sabrina Carpenter, Quarter Past Midnight by Bastille, plus choir favorites Let the River Run and Stardust
  • Go-to snacks: Maui onion chips and Big Chewy Nerds
  • Dream superpower: Go back in time, fix the past, return like nothing happened
  • Mythical alter ego: A pink unicorn
  • Laugh trigger: When people fall (lovingly, of course)

One thing people always get wrong? That she’s good at math. Consider this officially cleared up!

Hayley’s Favorite High School Memory

Singing at Baylor camp and performing in a concert where she felt completely confident. You can see that confidence shining through in these images.

What She’s Looking Forward To Next

College, majoring in pre-law or something related, followed by graduate school with the goal of becoming a medical malpractice lawyer.
