Aubree Turns One with a Lemonade Stand & Cake Smash
A Little Bit of Sunshine, a Lot of Personality
Aubree’s first birthday session was full of charm, sunshine, and her big personality shining through every photo. We met outdoors for a casual, fun-filled shoot that captured this milestone in a way that felt playful and true to her.
Family Photos to Start
We began the session with a few relaxed family portraits which makes the perfect chance for everyone to be in the frame before the cake gets everywhere. These moments always make such a sweet start, and the Patton family made it so easy. Genuine smiles, cuddles, and connection all came through effortlessly.
Lemonade Stand Birthday Portraits
The star of the show was Aubree and her adorable lemonade stand setup that her grandparents made. She gave us sweet smiles, a few thoughtful stares, and a whole lot of sour faces when she decided to try the lemons lol! I also brought out a little pink bench for a few photos as well.
Time for Cake!
Of course, we couldn’t finish the session without a good old-fashioned cake smash. Aubree didn’t hold back and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Frosting-covered fingers and wide-eyed delight made for the best kind of mess!
One Year Down, So Many Memories Ahead
First birthday sessions are about more than just cake… they’re a chance to pause and celebrate this wildly fast first year. Aubree’s session was the perfect mix of meaningful and fun. I’m so glad I got to capture this sweet season for the Patton family.
