I love using record stores for senior photos and this one is no exception! I have to admit that one of my favorite things about the south Austin record store, End of an Ear, is the name! lol It’s a bit smaller than say Waterloo Records, but it’s a cozy vibe with plenty of room for senior photos.

What to know about using End of an Ear Record Store for your senior photos – before you go!
1. Small Parking Lot
There is only one location for this indie record shop and it has a somewhat small parking lot. It can fill up on weekends making it a little tricky to find a good spot. If you like the outside of the building that’s also something to take into consideration when choosing the best time if you’re wanting photos outside.
2. Selecting the right Time
I always suggest doing senior photos at a record store on a weekday or earlier in the day because it’s indoors. The more bright it is outside during midday the better the brighter the light will be indoors. This is especially true when the time changes in the fall and the sun goes down earlier. You’ll really want to be there as early as possible. I always suggest calling before you plan anything because there can also be live music events happening and it’s better to check first.
