Fall Family Photo Mini Sessions at Mueller Lake Park in Austin, Texas!

This sweet family was my first session of the morning at Mueller Lake Park here in Austin, Texas. If you read my post about photo locations previously, you’d know that family photography at Mueller Park might just be the best location! I was so psyched I showed up for this an hour early just to sit and relax with my coffee before anyone showed up. Mueller is one of those great areas where you can shoot in so many different locations and make it feel like you’re in a completely different area. I always recommend this location not just because it’s beautiful (even though it is!), but because it’s a great area for family fun. If you decide ot leave the park you can head over to the Thinkery, or go grab an ice cream cone at Lick, or head over to the Alamo Drafthouse (they have lots of family friendly options).

Meet the family…

It was such a pleasure photographing Catherine and Greg’s family. They have a daughter, Dorothy, who is 3 and a son, Willie, who is 1 month old. Catherine signed up online for these mini sessions and I’m so glad she did. Dorothy was ready to play when they showed up. We had fun playing peek-a-boo and it made for some great photos. It took some trying, but I finally got some smiles from Willie! Congratulations to this new family of four! This family was a joy to photograph and I hope to see them in front of my lens again!
