When Jennifer and I began talking about documenting her second pregnancy I knew from past experience that it would be perfection. This family gets along so naturally well you can easily see the love between them.

Mueller Lake Park, here in Austin, is a beautiful backdrop for any session. When I drove up it was a cool 60 degrees and the ducks and birds were all moving around enjoying the colder morning air as much as I was. The park was almost completely empty and only a few souls were out walking or exercising.

I so enjoyed getting to meet Ellie and the time spent catching up with old friends. Their baby girl will be here in barely over a month and I couldn’t be more happy for them.

I know the first child sometimes does not feel as special after the second child but there is no denying how much MJ and Jennifer love Ellie. I wish them all the best on their new path. Congratulations Johnston family!

Maternity – Family Film at Mueller Lake Park in Austin, Texas

This beautiful family film records a time before their family changed. A time when Ellie was still an only child. A family film tells your story like no other medium can. Films capture movement, voices, laughs and more. The sound of your child’s voice or giggle has the power to transport you back to a living moment. It’s the equivalent of pressing play on your memories.
